Leo's Country Oven - A Delicious American Diner Experience in Madison Heights, MI

Update: Best Breakfast bf 6am in Metro Detroit. Review from 7 years ago, Leo's country oven has everything I want in a dinner. Friendly wait staff, inexpensive breakfast specials before 11am, and nice places to sit and enjoy my morning meal. I would recommend this place to everyone. I got 2 egg 3 pieces of bacon and toast all for under $4 out the door..... all cooked to perfection .This Diner is great. The staff is always friendly and they have my $4 breakfast ready right away. I appreciate diners like this one that still honor a breakfast special that is cheap enough to afford a few times per week. I get 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon or sausage, potatoes and toast... this place is great!

I love this place. They have the best French fries I get every time now with side of chilli. But they were so good last time I just used ketchup & forgot about the chilli...the staff remembers me from over ten years ago. Alot of the same staff, & Leo is around too-he's a nice guy. We come here a lot and not only the food and prices are great but the service is awesome especially Alishia so sweet and nice hope to get her all the time when we come here see you soon. We came back again 11-16-25 and again it was amazing and wow they know how to hire and train this time Kelly helped us and she was so nice and caring and went all out for us you can tell she is sweet with a warm good hearted soul. So you soon. Everything we had here it's been very good. Today we did the double 1-7-26 came for breakfast and dinner and again it was nice to see Alishia and Kelly and want to add Sandi on that list awesome service very good hearted people love coming here.

Clean , great service and delicious food! I definitely will be going back! I had city chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. And beef barley soup. So good!

Nice place. I got French toast and scrambled eggs for $10, plus tea for $3. Service was good, and we were seated in a booth where the wall and ceiling was all windows. The final bill including tip was about $35 for two people

Wonderful place, met a friend there and I was 1/2 hour early and they made sure I was comfortable while waiting. I had the breaded pork chops with fries. Also got a salad and dessert with my meal and chicken noodles soup. (Not pictured) Wonderful Staff, food was great. Would come back again. The dinner options was plenty to choose from with a reasonable price.

If you have never been to Leo's you need to visit. Amazing home cooked meals. Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. They serve incredible breakfast all day. Hamburgers, hot dogs, hot roast beef sandwiches, Prime rib, meat loaf, chicken, fried fish, giant salads with your choice of protein. Pitas, greek foods, steaks. Bread pudding, tapioca pudding, rice pudding, ice cream, pies. Omg.... the variety is amazing and it's all homemade. No crap Gordon's food stuff. My wife and I came here for our first dinner when we moved into the area. We come back a few times a week for dinner, breakfast or just because. The staff is fantastic as well and extremely friendly. Our favorite place to go for a good home cooked meal. Hi Leo!
